2013 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships

(Grand Cayman, Monday, 16 August 2013)The Cayman Islands Athletic Association (CIAA) is pleased to announce that the Cayman Islands will be represented at the upcoming Pan American Junior Athletics Championships (Pan Am) by Ashleigh Nalty who will be competing in the women’s high jump and Alexander Pascal who will be competing in the men’s javelin throw. 

The 17th Pan Am Junior Championships will be held in Medellin, Colombia from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 August. The women’s high jump and the men’s javelin throw are both scheduled for Saturday 24 August. The women’s high jump is scheduled for 18:50, and the mens’ javelin throw is scheduled 19:00. Medellin and Cayman have the same time. 

 

The athletes will be accompanied by Coach Kenrick Williams and CIAA Second-Vice President Jenna-Dell Humphrey-Terry, who will serve as the Team Manager. The team is scheduled to depart for Medellin on Wednesday, 21 August at 12:30pm on American Airlines.
